Dear Sovereign Grand Commanders and Representatives of the Supreme Councils of Italy, Brazil, Israel, Slovakia and Paraguay,
Dear Brethren,
It is a great honor and privilege to be among you today in this historical moment of the Freemasonry in Albania. I would like to thank my brethren for the trust placed in me and the nomination as a Sovereign Grand Commander of the Scottish Rite in Albania. This is a great responsibility for me and I hope that with the help of the Grand Architect of Universe I can repay that faith and together we can establish a strong Scottish Rite as a splendor of the Masonic Light and an example of virtue and justice.
Taking advantage of this ceremony, I would like to highlight 2 important keystones for the Freemasonry in Albania:
First, Freemasonry in Albania is a product of the great faith of the Italian brothers who for 15 years in a row have worked relentlessly, supported us and made sure that Albanian Freemasonry developed within all Masonic principles. I take the opportunity to publicly thank the Italian Supreme Council for its continuous support in the past years, and specifically highlight the commitments of:
Sovereign Grand Commander Br. Gianpaolo Barbi, Past Sovereign Grand Commander Br. Leo Taroni and Provincial Inspector Br. Marco Jacobbi who has accompanied us in every step.
I cannot leave without remembering our honorable brother Mario Misul, who gave unconditional support for the Albanian Scottish Rite, and it hurts me a lot that death took him away and he cannot be with us today to see his achievements.
Dear Italian brethren, your support is greatly appreciated and it will never be forgotten. We are fortunate to have had you as our companion on our Masonic journey.
Secondly, on behalf of all Albanian brethren, I would like to thank the Honorable Sovereign Grand Commanders of Brazil, Israel, Paraguay and Slovakia for responding to our invitation and honoring us with your participation in the Constitution of the Supreme Council of Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite in Albania.
This event is historical to us and therefore YOU will become part of the history of Freemasonry in Albania.
